Yup, it’s that time again – time for another Monday update.
The cougar backlash seems to have died down a little, and it seems that the rest of the world is back to it’s ‘don’t care what it’s called’ mentality, which is fine by me. My take on it is that when women dating younger men is not an issue at all, and nobody bats an eyelid – that’s the time when we can get back to negotiating the lives we lead with our guys, without all the hype.
The last week on the blog has been focused on the male dynamics of an older woman/younger man relationship. In any relationship, it’s important to see both sides and it’s often easy to forget that men who choose to date older have their own issues to deal with.
This week, I’m going to be taking a look at the disadvantages of dating older women/ younger men. I’m the first to espouse the benefits and the joys that these relationships hold, but it’s not all smooth sailing – well, not all the time.
I’ve also been spending some time working with Corbett Barr on where next to take Beyond Cougar. If you don’t know Corbett, he runs a couple of blogs, and I first came across him on Free Pursuits, where he writes about different ways to quit the day job and live a location independent lifestyle, which is right up my strasse.
